It’s been a little while since my last update :) I wish I had more to give you. I had no real idea 6 months ago that the pain I was starting to feel in my left side would have led to me being 6-7 months behind on the site. To those of you who have kept contributing, who keep donating... thank you. Seriously, I cannot thank you guys enough for the continued emails, support, and more.
In the realm of good news, the problem is becoming more manageable. The chairs that I hoped would be my solution for so long didn’t work. Neither did physical therapy. Neither did the continued use of gabapentin, meloxicam, oxycodone... etc. Fortunately, a chiropractor fan started me down the right path, going so far as to offer me free treatment for coming in. The problem is narrowed down to my hip (which is very not aligned right, one side is down farther than the other) and my spine (moderate scoliosis; twists to the right and curves a bit). He did some crazy chiro-magic with my back, and though I’ve always been skeptical of chiropractors (this was my first attempt at any), I think this is the best path.
I’ve gotten lots of feedback from my friends on good chiros in my area and am going to start setting up some treatment plans. I hope this will finally help resolve my issues and save me from months or even years longer of being on pills and doing crazy yoga every night (well, the yoga isn’t really that bad, tbh).
Anyhow! As for the site, my pain is a bit more manageable now and I’ve been making longer attempts at staying comfortable in my seat and working. As you can see,
I do have a bit of a backlog.
I’ve always tried to avoid making hard promises on when certain books would be up, especially now when a weekend I *don’t* have a lot booked is a rare and beautiful thing. So consider this timeline below my *hopes* on when I can get which books up:
Week of 8/7/16: Arcane Anthology, Darklands Revisited
Week of 8/14/16: Down the Blighted Path, Blood of Shadows
Week of 8/21/16: Pathfinder #104: Wrath of Thrune, Pathfinder #105: The Inferno Gate, Pathfinder #106: For Queen & Empire
Week of 8/28/16: Inner Sea Faiths, Ire of the Storm, Heaven Unleashed
Week of 9/4/16: Armor Master’s Handbook, We B4 Goblins!
Week of 9/11/16: Magic Tactics Toolbox, Pathfinder #107: Scourge of the Godclaw
Week of 9/18/16: Inner Sea Intrigue, Path of the Hellknight
Week of 9/25/16: Spymaster’s Handbook, Gallows of Madness
Week of 10/2/16: Pathfinder #108: Hell Comes to Westcrown, Legacy of Dragons
Week of 10/9/16: Pathfinder #109: In Search of Sanity, Planes of Power
Week of 10/16/16: Haunted Heroes Handbook, Divine Anthology
Week of 10/23/16+: RPG Product Line, any other missed work, errata, emails
It’s my hope that over the next 2-3 months I can catch up on my current backlog, get back in a good place on the website, and start working on the enormous errata and email backlog next.
Thank you again to everyone who’s continued to use the site, contribute, or email me these last many months. Please, even if you don’t see a response from me, continue to send me emails. I flag and organize everything sent to me so that when the time is right, I can start responding and making fixes.

It’s been a while and I thought you deserved an update. Progress has been slow of late. I’ve gotten a book up here and there but am definitely a few months behind, much to my disappointment.
On the bright side of life, I got a new job recently! It’s awesome, the team is awesome, and I love it there.
On the other side, the health issues I’ve been dealing with lately involve my back. While the chair at work isn’t too bad, the ones I have at home are awful and sitting in them longer than an hour just gets too painful. My wife and I’ve been looking into new chairs and a promising one is on the way, some four weeks off. I’m hoping this will help, as I’ve been dying to get back to the site in a meaningful way. The last week or so I’ve been working on a couple books, including new pages for the Arcane Anthology, but just can’t sit in the chair for that long.
Anyways, overall good things are happening, and the bad ones are being worked on. I’m hoping to start really working on the books again soon.

Alright everybody, I’ve got some updates for you!
I know I’ve been a bit silent in the last couple of months, posting mostly on my FB page with updates here and there. I wanted to give everyone an update on my personal status, the status of the website, etc. It feels like it’s been long enough.
So, as most of you know, last year on 10/10/15, I got married. My new wife and I took a great honeymoon trip through Europe, visiting Germany, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. After we got back, I returned to my day job and took it easy for a while, doing a few site updates here and there as time allowed.
On 12/31/15, my company said that it was downsizing and let go a half-dozen of the staff. I, unfortunately, was one of those let go. As far as I can tell, there wasn’t much I could have done to change that: the others and I were part of the older crew and the business model was going in a different direction. I don’t harbor my old job any ill will. That said, it still left me in kind of a pickle. We had spent a lot of money on our honeymoon and some of the wedding and had to come up with a new plan two months into our marriage. Additionally, we were also hit with a few nasty medical bills whose timing could have been... better? :)
We’re doing fine. Just going to say that right off the bat, everything’s okay. I’m getting unemployment pay, Kat is still working, and I’ve been studying more in my new free time so I can look into getting some certifications.
What does this all mean for the site? Nothing. This is what I want to reassure everyone on: the site is not going away. Far from it. The patrons I have with Patreon, combined with individual donations and ad revenue, are enough to keep the site running. In truth, upgrading the site’s infrastructure isn’t far off. I have absolutely no reason to shelve the site in order to save money, and don’t ever plan on doing so.
. Jesse’s been spending a lot of his free time and knowledge on improving some of the features that have been requested for a long time. The first one you should already see live: a handy little "Theme" toggle in the upper-right corner of the page. This will finally allow anyone to set the site to whatever preference they want: white font on black background, or black font on white background. In addition, he also adjusted the main menu to scroll with the page, making it a bit easier to navigate elsewhere no matter where you’re at.
So, that’s about it. I hope that sheds a bit of light on why I’ve been so quiet recently, but I want to stress again that there’s no reason to fear for the Archives. Even in quiet times I am often at work updating books on the back-end, jotting down updates until I can make a massive announcement. Jesse has other great ideas for the site as well that we hope to implement in the coming future (potentially including a new slimmed-down menu for those who are short on width space...).
To all of you who use the Archives of Nethys and continue to do so, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Working on this site gives me immense joy and I can’t ever imagine stopping it. Being able to help the players and the Pathfinder Society means the world to me. Thank you all so much.
Until next time!
Your Humble Deity,
Blake "Nethys" Davis
To those involved with my "Acolytes of Nethys" project, you have not been forgotten! Once things are a bit less chaotic, I hope to return to you helpful people. :)

- A new toggle has been added in the top-right corner, allowing all users to switch between a black font/white background color scheme or a white font/black background.
- The main Nethys menu should now scroll with the screen.
: For any issues with the above features, please try clearing your cache/refreshing the window a few times. We had a few strange errors when the new code was first launched, but all of them seem to resolve with time. If you do have an issue that does not seem to be resolving, please
with the details of your system, browser, and the issue you're seeing. I'll do my best to resolve it.
We are aware of a bug with the background not extending fully in the Sources area when viewing a list of Sources in each Product Line; that should be fixed sometime this week.

New material has been added to the Archives! I know it’s been a while: wedding, holiday, all that jazz. With these updates, I should be mostly caught up on books (only 1-2 weeks behind). E-mails I definitely need to clear out, but don’t let my silence discourage you from e-mailing me if you spot errors/problems, or just have general requests. I do keep a fairly orderly queue of mail and flag every single one that I don’t respond to. If you’ve emailed me and don’t have a response, odds are it’s on my list and you’ll see one soon (I hope).
Inner Sea Races
Feast of Dust
Heroes of the Streets
Due to popular demand, and a more visible presence of requirement in PFS, I’ve added functionality to display deity-owned subdomains across the board. While I still haven’t finished entering the data for all deities, you should see a substantial number of them with the functionality in place (core gods, archdevils, demons, empyreal lords, some others). This is most visible on the individual deity pages, but will also be reflected in the Subdomain listings themselves. I hope to have this fully complete over the weekend.

Hi everyone! I wanted to give everyone an update on where the site currently is at, along with why you aren’t going to hear from me in the coming weeks: I’m getting married! Specifically, I’m getting married *tomorrow* as I write this, which is harder for me to fathom than an Asmodean paladin.
Anyways, I am going to be gone on my honeymoon and won’t be back until the tail end of October. We have a whirlwind tour ahead of us in Germany, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands! That said, I couldn’t forget about you guys! I’ve been busting my buns for the last few weeks both with wedding prep and getting the site back up to date. I am happy to say that, with the exception of two things, I am now back up to date with the rest of the Pathfinder world!
Here’s what’s been added since my last update:
[Adventure Path] Pathfinder #95: Anvil of Fire
[Adventure Path] Pathfinder #96: Shadow of the Storm Tyrant
[Adventure Path] Pathfinder #97: In Hell’s Bright Shadow
[Adventure Path] Hell’s Rebels Player’s Guide
[Campaign Setting] Hell Unleashed
[Campaign Setting] Occult Bestiary
[Module] We Be Goblins Free!
[Player Companion] Monster Summoner’s Handbook
Here’s the couple things still on my backlog:
[Errata] Ultimate Combat
[Player Companion] Dirty Tactics Toolbox
And here’s what’s coming up after I get back and catch up on the two things above!
[Adventure Path] Pathfinder #98: Turn of the Torrent
[Campaign Setting] Inner Sea Races
[Player Companion] Heroes of the Streets
Thanks to everyone for the continued support. It means so much to me to hear feedback from you guys on the site and more. Rest easy faithful users, the Archives will be back to updating soon enough! :)
